Activity Residual Engineering for Conversion of 18” Water Injection Line to Oil Transfer Line Between WSP and ZCC

ADNOC OFFSHORE was using its existing 14” Oil Trunk Line between WSP and ZCC to pump partially stabilized oil from Umm AI Anbar Island and West Satellite Platform. This pipeline is expected to become bottleneck by mid-2019 as oil production from Umm AI Anbar is ramped up. To improve the backpressure on crude oil transfer pumps on WSP & Umm AI Anbar Island, following mitigation measures are proposed
a) Convert existing 12” PL-18 (WI-CI) Gas Injection pipeline to oil service
b) Convert existing WSP-ZCC 18” Water Injection Pipeline to oil service
This project objective is to convert existing WSP-ZCC 18” Water Injection Pipeline to oil service.
Residual Engineering Works will encompass Process, Piping, Civil & Structural, Instrumentation & Control and HSE engineering and any other associated work required for successful implementation of the project.
