Activity Transportation, Rigging, Sea-Fastening, Lifting and Related Analysis and Pile Drivability / Stickup / Impact Studies.
Client Momentum Engineering Dubai, UAE, For PETRONAS, Malaysia.
Place Malaysia
Period April 2011 to Jun 2011.
We glad to inform you that, MR Vision & Momentum used a Jack-up Rig (without mobilization of an installation Derrick barge) for OFFSHORE LIFT AND INSTALLATION of Platform Jacket, Deck and Boat-Landing in 50m of water for PETRONAS, PCPP, in Malaysian waters. This is highly appreciated by the industries in this region. This timely and successfully demonstrated Innovative & most cost-effective method is given more confidence to the small & marginal field operators to adopt similar cost-effective methods in this region.
1. Load out Analysis:
• Transportation analysis of jacket and deck to the Jetty (trailer transportation)
• Load out analysis (lifted load out from Quay to the transportation vessel)
• Barge/transportation vessel ballast analysis for load out.
2. Transportation & Sea Fastening:
• Transportation analysis of the Jacket
• Transportation analysis of deck
• Sea fastening design of deck
• Sea fastening design of Jacket
• Barge local strength analysis
• Barge stability and ballast analysis during transpiration.
3. Lifting and upending
• Lift analysis for jacket for various critical positions of jacket (horizontal, vertical, inclined etc. as required) based on the installation procedure.
• Lift analysis for deck for various critical positions of deck as required based on the installation procedure.
• Design of lifting padeyes, Design of trunnions etc.
• Design of bumpers on the vessel during jacket upending.
• Lift analysis for deck for various critical positions of deck as required based on the installation procedure.
• Vessel ballast calculations for various phases of the jacket upending/lifting operations.
4. Unpiled Stability Analysis
• Perform unpiled stability analysis.
• Check the adequacy of mud mat for the operation
5. Pile Driving Analysis.
• Perform pile drivability analysis using GRL WEAP.
